General Jewellery Care Guide

1. Last to put on, first to take off

It's advisable to apply perfume before putting on your jewellery and allow it to dry completely before wearing your pieces.

2. Clean with a soft lint-free cloth after each wear

Preventing residue buildup through regular cleaning ensures that the pieces retain their initial sparkle.

3. Remove before exercising or bathing

The chemicals in many hair and body care products can react with the metals in jewellery, leading to tarnishing, discolouration, or a dull appearance.

4. Store in a cool and dry place

Place individual pieces in soft pouches or cloth wraps to protect them from scratches or damage.

Material Care Guides

18kt Gold Plated

On top of the base plating, typically around 0.5 microns thick, each jewellery piece undergoes an additional layer of e-coating which strengthens the durability.

Wearing:

Treat plated jewellery gently to avoid scratching, denting, or chipping the plated surface.

While our jewellery are generally waterproof, to extend their lifestyle, take off jewellery before activities like swimming, showering, exercising, or cleaning to prevent damage.

Avoid excessive contact with perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and other chemicals, as they can erode the plating and cause discolouration.

Cleaning:

Clean jewellery with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or residues. Pat dry immediately afterward.

Storing:

Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Store each piece separately to prevent scratching or tangling. Keep them dry and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.

925 Sterling Silver

925 Sterling Silver is a lightweight metal made of 92.5% pure silver. 925 Silver is waterproof and does not rust.

Wearing:

Wearing your sterling silver pieces often can help prevent tarnishing, as the natural oils in your skin may help maintain its lustre.

Remove your jewelry before engaging in activities that may expose it to excessive sweat, chemicals, or physical impact.

Cleaning:

Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth to polish your silver jewellery and remove tarnish. Avoid using tissues or paper towels, as they may contain micro-particles that can scratch the surface.

If needed, clean your silver jewellery with a mixture of mild soap and warm water. Use a soft cloth to gently clean, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry.

Storing:

Store sterling silver jewellery in airtight containers or ziplock bags to reduce exposure to air and moisture, which can cause tarnishing.

Store each piece separately to prevent scratching or tangling.

Pearls

Freshwater pearls and Mother of Pearls are used in our jewellery pieces. Pearls are delicate and require special care to maintain their natural lustre and beauty.

Wearing:

Keep pearls away from strong chemicals, acids, perfumes, cosmetics, hairsprays, and other household products. Chemicals can harm the pearls and diminish their lustre.

The natural oils from your skin can help maintain the pearls' lustre, so wear them often and keep them in your jewellery rotation to keep them beautiful.

Cleaning:

Clean pearls with a soft, damp cloth after each wear to remove oils and debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or brushes.

Storing:

Protect pearls from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as it can cause them to dry out and lose their lustre.
